setup up bipole surround in 25' long room ???

I have the couch 8' from the back of the room 25 feet long. Would I place the bipole surrounds also 8' from the rear wall 2 to 3' above my ears ???
What about the long distance reflections off the back wall ???
If the fronts are 10 feet away (6'from the front wall), the rear sound would leave the speakers, bounce off the wall, and the reach one's ears. That surround path is 16' while the front path is only 10 feet. What about the 5ms delay ????????????
