Re: Question on your system ?

I listen to all types.... some random selections in my CD changer...Phantom of the opera, Tchaikovsky, Will Smith, STing, Sash, Electronic and Rave, Pulp fiction soundtrack, list goes on...

The only thing I dont listen to is country and blues (some types).

My comment is that the interaction is excellent save for the bass weakness but I think I have not set things right yet!! Read my post...I mention my flooring etc. and that may be the problem. I have no curtains either -- just lots of windows with blinds...very spartan minimalistic hardwood floor modern look.

The music sounds more awesome in the gym where I have B&Ws with Sony DB930 but that is because it is carpeted, few windows and more enclosed since it is a basement. Also the setup is less complicated since I am not yet using the surround capability.... just 2 B&W speakers and sub. again, read my post for details

but I think the Pioneer will work just fine -- you just need to set it up well and it helps if you are not as choosy as I am about looks.
