I have the DV-37 Brian, and I can tell you that for the money it is a very sweet player. I haven't upgraded my TV yet, so I'm not reaping all the benefits of Progressive Scan, but even so it is very sharp. I replaced a DV-05 with this unit, and overall the picture is very crisp on both, so not a lot of difference there yet. I'm using minde also to play cd's until I find the right cd player to fit my needs, and it performs this task well enough for me. The biggest change is the loading speed of the DV-37, it is very noticable. The remote is full-featured and I find it easy to navigate and use. I got mine for around $650 new as my dealer was doing a promotion with all Pioneer Elite products. Overall, I am very satisfied with this unit.
