There is only so much you can do without accessing the service menu. Try ty start out with Video Essentials or Avia. These are great set-up DVD's. You should aslo seek out an ISF tech, I have a Mitsubishi 16:9 HDTV set and when I had it properly calibrated (geometry, color tempature, convergence) the set took on new life.
