External DD decoder choices

I have a Marantz AV600 Pre-Pro (pro logic). I would like to add an external DD processor.

The likely suspects are:

McIntosh MAC-3; I have seen this one at very good prices lately.

Adcom GDD-700

Marantz ADP-870

I would like to have 24/96 DAC capability; the Adcom and Marantz do not have this feature- can they be updated ?

On a general level, which of the 3 would provide the best DD processing ?
