Long Video Cable Run

My VCR, DVD and receiver are going to be separated from the TV by about a 50 foot cable run. Initially its going to be just composite video. Later, hopefully soon, its going to be HDTV.

Anybody have suggestions on:

Type of cable to use
Type of connectors to use
Amplifiers
Anything else
