Marantz DVD930 won't play new release DVDs

Someone please help.
I bought a Marantz DVD930 DVD player about 2 years ago and recently I've been having problems playing many new DVDs. "Gladiator" "The Perfect Storm" and "JFK" are just three new releases that will not play. Other discs play fine.
What can I do? Do I have to update software? Will Marantz help me with this? Do I just have to buy another DVD player?
