sony KP-61S65 Projection TV

Guys...I could really use your advice.

There is a store near me that will give me a really good price on this Sony 61 inch Rear Projection set, the KP-61S65.

I know it does not have HDTV or Progressive Scan inputs, and I'm willing ti live with that, as most of what I watch is on tape, or Laserdisk, where I'm using the S video output...also on my digital camcorder.

Do any of you have this set and can vouch for the quality of the optics, guns, ect? All the reviews I have read (about 5) have been positive.

I also think that the picture quality may not be as good as Sonys OTHER 61 inch HDTV sets, using the same S Video mode. Can anyone comment on that?
