I bought new prescription glasses with anti-reflective coating yesterday, brand name was "Invisibles". This offers incredible clarity of vision with no light smearing. They are relatively new and cost $80 extra for glasses, but man what a difference you can see in all kinds of light, especially night driving or theater viewing. You supposedly can see about twice the sharpness over regular lenses under these conditions.
