ead 1000 opinions needed

I have a trade offer for a pair of speakers for an ead 1000 and have never heard one.Please share your opinions on this amp for 2 channel or dd/dts.I heard the ead amps put out a lot more than there rated power when used in two channel.Any info positive or not would be appreciated.
