Info for you Kurt

Hey Kurt,
I did a little research after I posted this and here is what I came up with. You can access the Service Menu on the TV (which only the repair guys are supposed to, but if you're like me the warranty has expired and I'm not paying Sony shit for an inherent design flaw) by turning the TV off and let it sit for a second then press the display button, followed by the number 5, followed by the volume + button, followed by the power on button on the remote (disp - 5 - VOL+ - Power ON) and press them all within one second of each other. This will turn the TV on with the service menu up. Hit the number 4 key a bunch of times to scroll through the service menu (the 1 key scrolls back) until you get to menu item - HOSC - then press either the 3 or 6 buttons to change the value (I'm told to set it between 9-11). When the picture looks right, press the Mute button and then Enter - this will save the change. Believe it or not, it works, and I'm also told not to screw with other menu items or you could lose your picture. Anyway here is the link to the site I got this from, it worked for me - hope it works for you. Thanks for the follow up.
