The new player you anticipate (9000) will eventually be hooked up via component video connections, not S Video (unless your TV has no component inputs, in which case you should consider throwing some money into that box).
So - any 'ole S video cable will do for now.

Again, if your TV has no component in's, you should just save the money you would have spent on a top notch cable for a future video upgrade, because a TV with no component probably isn;t gonna benefit big time from a pricey cable.
