Can one wire multiple 5.1 setups in multiple rooms off of one HT system? In other words...
I have a a family room with a den directly below it in the basement. I am in the process of hooking up a low-mid fi system in the family room. The system will contain 5 surrounds, an active subwoofer, a HT receiver, a DVD/CD player, Hi-Fi VCR and TV.
Is it possible to hook up another set of 5.1 speakers and a second TV in the den but have them run through the receiver (and DVD and VCR)?
If so, do I need any additonal items (i.e. speakers switch box?)
Probably can't do it, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
