Re: Dust inside lens of Sharp LCD projector problem

If you don't notice it on the viewing side of things, I would not worry about it yet. Just start making calls, to AUTHORIZED repair centers, and check the rates. You may find that a 1 or 2 hour repair/estimate fee can get someone else to fix it, if that fee is worth it to you. (?/!)

You can also try to get a can of compressed-air in there but I don't recomend it if you are not familiar with the internals of the unit. If you "blow" a wad of dust into the wrong place .... your f*ck*d!

By calling around, you get to check the rates of different repair centers, this may or may-not be a good thing. Remember that EVERYTHING has maintenance cost affiliated with it. Cars ... women ... audio upgrades/mods ...

NO offence intended toward anything or anyone, just the facts ...

Good luck,
Fish

PS: Check your operators manual, there should be some kind of maintenance instructions for cleaning or bulb replacement or something ...
