AMC 25100 vs. Outlaw Audio

192.27.225.4

Well here I go again. I had finally decided that the Outlaw 750 was the amp for me. Then on a trip to Denver, I dropped by my old audio hang out and they have the AMC 25100 5 channel amp for $800 bucks. This amp is only 100 watts vs the 165 of the Outlaw, but I am looking at this purchase as a temporary upgrade to get me into separates and honestly believe that at some point in time 3 years or so I will be upgrading into a Proceed (or other Hi-Fi) amp. I had decided that the Outlaw gave me the most bang for the buck at the $1100 dollar range and had not seen anything under $1000 that was even worth listening to.

The AMC seemed to be very well built at at $300 less than the Outlaw it is causing me to rethink my strategy.

Does anyone have any experience with other AMC equipment? I would be grateful for any input you could provide me.

Neville
