For a long time, I've set my eyes and saved up for the Yamaha DSP-A1 and a set of Dynaudio Audience speakers (Audience 40 for main and rear, Audience CC for center).
Now that I'm close to purchasing these, several new prodicts have started appearing in stores here in Manila, Philippines and amoong them would be the complete B&W range (300 series, 600 series, CDM series), Energy, Tannoy (Mercury and Revolution series), Paradigm, and the Sony STR-DB930.
I cannot listen to all the receiver-speaker combinations among the brands mentioned above in one store thus ruling out A-B comparisons. I was hoping somebody herre can point me to the combinations I should prioritize hearing. My budget is up to the Yamaha DSP-A1 and the Dynaudios but I would greatly appreciate spending less for a smallish room. For this set-up, stereo performance is a big plus but not required. I have different audio only set-up.
