I just ordered my MC-1. I have not heard the Meridian so I can not comment on its performance. I do know that the Lexicon is an awesome sounding pieceboth in two channel stereo and surround sound. It can perform as a stereo preamp if you needed it to. A fine processor indeed. The best ergonomics in the business.
