cambridge audio azur 540r...long

anyone have any opinions or experiences with above product? looking for much more ease of listening to voices during ht. my speakers are mismatched as are my amps. i am using technics ht processor which may be the source for much improvement. was using all same speakers at front (energy veritas) in past but voices no better. its not that my set up is bad its just that i am looking for improvement for least possible costs. was thinking of a ht pre but not sure how much improvement i will get or just changing to a ht receiver but not sure how much 2channel quality i will lose, if any. an arcam avr300 would be ideal but costs....also thinking i need a sub again - had a rel storm and was too much with floorstanders in ht but only have these little quad 11L's in quite a large room now - in apt so trying to keep boom down. also any thoughts on how much a dvd player can make with ht audio? i am using a very inexpensive toshiba using the digital out. thanks!
