Ancient Lexicon CP3

64.91.163.155

From snooping the Video Asylum, I know the Lexicon is a old antiquated unit. I bought one off Ebay for use in my secondary TV room last week. When the unit powers up it lists the software version as V4, copyright 1994. From what I have seen on other forums and on Lexicon's website, V4 software was the version installed in the CP3+ (per the opening blurb of the differences between the CP3 and CP3+:
The CP-3+ introduces a technique for extracting five channels of surround information from a standard 4-2-4 matrix-encoded soundtrack (Dolby Surround, UltraStereo, etc.) This is among other things that the software V4 will do. Is this the case with the CP3 operating with the V4 software?

Thanks,
Tom
