If you are a videophile there is a uge difference between 720p and 1080p. I was at CES and the 1080P sets are awesome. I just ordered a Epson 3LCD that upconverts and displays all video in 1080P. It's still 3 months away. I would wait 6 months and buy anything that is 1080P. Read the specs. There are sets out there now that says they are 1080P. But then the specs says they will only accept 1080i. I almost bought a Sony Qualia 006. Then I read the specs. Thats why I'm buys the Epson monitor.
