How do I demagnetise my TV screen?

Well I 've done it now. I was goofing around with one of my buddies yesterday. He wondered why a set of speakers of mine had Bumping magnets and I explained to why with my 27" Panasonic TV. I ran the magnet side across the screen and it left a streak afterwards that appears to be permanent now.
What do I do?
Will it return with time to original charge state?
