Re: Who bought plasmas, one question.

I have no experience of plasmas but I used to own a NEC CRT set with the same instructions. If you turned it on immediately after moving it, there would be a colour cast over part of the screen. Turning the set off and waiting the recommended period before turning it back on always removed the cast. It may simply be something like that. I suspect the instruction is there for a reason.

There are no such instructions for my LCD set and it doesn't seem to have any problems if I move it, but of course LCDs are a different beast to plasmas.
