Re: HT Speakers, will they be adequate?

Re the bass/sub that will take a bit of careful adjustment and lowering the level around -8db will be a good starting point. I have the sub set for 40hz but will give it a try at 60hz. Right now the L/C/R/SR/SL etc are all in temporary positions and mounting the speakers on the beams is my next step. The Denon AVR 3805 is fairly sophisticated re set up and with time I hope to get the speaker balance fine tuned after the speakers are in their permanent positions. The output is very decent with 5 speakers plus 1 sub with 2 more back surround speakers to be added and another sub. I'm compareing this against my prior 2 channel setup for video useing a pair of JBL L300 (15" woofers) and the surround speakers don't have quite the punch so far but I think I can get it closer.
