VGA to HDMI?

Hi folks. My Camelot Roundtable MKII has a VGA output as well as the three RGB connectors. I'm getting ready to buy my first 1080P Hidef TV, and have questions on how to hook up the video (audio goes direclty to my Lexicon Surround Sound processor). Is there a way to go from the VGA output directly to the HDMI connector on the TV? Or does VGA connect to DVI inputs on the TV (if there are any)? Or should I just go with the RBG connetors?

I'm looking at the Mistubishi 57" Diamond 1080P DLP, and the Samsung 1080P LED DLP TV. Very confusing, so any help woudl be much appreicated. Thanks.
