Nephews/nieces cooked up a dastardly scheme to buy their father an XBox HD DVD add-on gizmo for Christmas (which is kinda like buying the wife a toolbox for CHristmas). Now we are watching Bourne Identity on HD DVD with two other Bourne movies and Transformers in the queue. THe Bournes are a much better watch than Spiderman, and Planet Earth is too cerebral for this party.

Dang, 1080p looks pretty good. Even using the Xbox component output looks pretty decent. And they thought they only had a 1080i TV only.
