Any "black box" to further improve video???

Although very satisfied with the stunning video performance of my equipment (Sony S-7000 DVD player, Toshiba 40", 16:9 PTV, component video hook-up via Monster M1000 Silver video cables), I wonder whether there is any "blackbox" -from Faroudja, Entec, u other manufacturer- cable, or tweak that would allow for further video improvement. Also, is it possiblke to hook-up a line doubler to my current equipment? Experiences to share anyone?
