Home Video Asylum

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

Yep, AudioQuest

I think a 1m AQ HDMI-3 lists for $250, while the Wireworld Starlight 5 is $200.

With the video equipment I've used, it's kind of a toss-up, between HDMI and component video. My Dish box has a DVI output, but I dunno, the picture quality is kind of, well, kind of like a computer. The colors aren't as "real life," and motion can be jittery. So I go with component video for Dish.

But on the Esoteric DV-60, it needs HDMI to upconvert to the highest rates. So I go with HDMI on the DV-60.
