It's not over a fireplace. And apparently it's not thermal protection as I thought. It's the tuner or

something related I think. The rep asked me if I was running straight to cable or from a cable box. I was running straight at the time but usually use a cable box. I switched over to the box and have had no more problems. However i am just guessing at the problem based on his question and my experience so far.
