You aint kidding. Was at Best Buy and a cat 2/1.3b HDMI monster cable was on SALE for $120 bucks without tax. The 8 year old kid working there (ok, he might have been 18) told me that only Monster was tested and certified...oh brother. On Amazon, Cables to go, etc, there are cat2/1.3 certified HDMI for $9.95 with free shipping. For that cost, I will drop the 10 bucks and see if I notice any difference in picture quality, and even if I don't, will have the cable when/if I upgrade the processor in the future.
