Wireless HDTV transmission?

any experience with this? Ready for prime time? Would like to hang the TV on the wall and place the DVR/SAT and bluray in another room...not an AV rig, just video with TV's basic audio. If not wireless transmission, any other good options. Equipment could be placed on other side of the wall on which the TV is mounted...with HDMI cables running through the wall but just trying to understand some of the options without the equipment close to TV. Thanks!
