with amps its always more money for added rear inputs
not so with the new tvs. my old sony wega had the basic inputs. the new bravia was cheaper than the wega only $300.00 new with 9 inputs component hdmi computer & 5.1 optical out. I cant say for sure its 5.1 out for tv I have not tried it. but what a bargain. I think blu ray was a key factor in the exta inputs. but it seems to me the tvs are a real bargain.plus video rez is better
all I did was get a larger screen wega was 21 bravia 26
