HDMI switch - known issues?

Question –

Any issues with using an HDMI switch to put two digital video signals (HDMI and DVI) into one HDMI jack on a AVR?

Have a Rotel 1057 AVR with two HDMI (v1.1) jacks. Have a 360, DVD, Cable box (DVI). Running HDMI of 360 into one jack want to share DVD and Cable box with a switch to other.

The Rotel HDMI jack is compatible with DVI using an adapter (DVI to HDMI). Really don’t want to run another cable to the TV – as component would be only choice.

Want a simple 2 in 1 out HDMI switch – was looking at going with Blue Jeans Cable.

Any issues with doing this other than having to go behind the cabinet and manually switch? Will be using a Harmony remote that will only turn on proper device when needed.

Thanks
