Toshiba Toslink Out . . . .

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

I have a single toslink out and have been wondering if I should use it as audio out for both my DVD and music server. I don't know if the sound quality would be the same or degraded as currently I go direct to the receiver with both the DVD and server.

Any ideas or experience as using the TV's PCM out for a single source?
