Oppo BDP-93

I have had mine for a few months and it is a quality pc of gear. The DLNA functionality rocks and allows srteaming from PCs to network storage and USB stick.

There is a great thread over at AVS Forums which should be able to address all questions.

OPPO tech support is the best I have ever had. For those with handshake issues with certain AVRs they are supplying firmware updates within hours, even on Easter for some. They respond quickly with the correct answers.

If anyone is going to use the Analog outs mixed down to stereo for music playback, you may want to consider the 95 or Nu Force editions. I did a little shootout between the OPPO 93 and my Rotel 1072. The 93 lacks life and dynamics but overall is not a bad single player solution for some. Mine will perform double duty as Blu-DVD in HT as well as CD playback to a secondary system while the Rotel remains the main player in my 2 channel system.
