As cfraser said, just because a title is on Blu-ray doesn't automatically mean it will have fabulous image quality. (Though instances of older films reissued on BD with less-than-stellar PQ are thankfully getting more and more scarce these days.) In any event, it pays to do a little homework first, especially if the title has been out for a while, as in the case of 'Total Recall' (click link below).
