DVI-I connector on projector

Friend bought projector which had DVI-I connector.
Any adaptors to HDMI or other input? Projector is unusable in HD modes because it has only s-video or composit inputs, besides the DVI-I

He spent way too much money on that thing, used, and I'm reluctant to simply give him the bad news.....
