For a well-mastered VHS tape, the softer edges of VHS seems more nearly consistent with how movies used to look in theaters with older, non- digital projection equipment. The Hi Fi sound is good too. Esp the blue ray digital stuff seems overly crisp to the point where the all the detail is distracting.
