Once you get one OR the other, I don't think you will care either way and BOTH types of sets are good, otherwise there WOULD still be a market for plasma sets.

Yes, the plasma's are smoother and the Samsung LEDs are sharper and, maybe, a little unnatural.

If I were getting their largest size, 60-65 inch, MAYBE, I would care, but then the thought of being so wasteful of power would lean me towards the LED. Happy I ALREADY own a plasma set and have no intention of replacing it anytime soon, but I can enjoy the LED set as well.
