RE: Suspect HDMI cables???

I don't have any experience with your issue but in the following articles what you describe does not appear to be an HDMI cable issue. You could purchase (or possibly borrow) a cheap HDMI cable just to eliminate your cable. I would suspect the source or TV. If you can borrow even a cheap DVD or Blu-ray player that would help to eliminate the source.
