Yes. Using the bp-105's passive volume attenuator offers significant improvement by significantly lowering distortions typically caused by an attenuator's signal loss.
Audio is significantly more pristine, detailed, and even delicate and since I use 500+ wpc amps, the dynamics are actually more natural but still very dynamic.
It seems I like using the word significant here.
