Thanks for your review. I am wondering when to jump in to the SACD playground. I thought when the SCD 777 ES came out, which played DVD's as well it was time to get in. Then the Sony 9000 ES was imminent, at about half the price. I can't stand waiting much longer.

What was it that made you select the 9000 ES over the SCD 777 ES? My "Christmas shopper" is standing by for instructions.
