This is my first post to this group.
Would it be an improvement to cover a standard S-Video cable with a braided copper shield and ground it at the source end similar to an unbalanced RCA? Would this improve the shielding? What if it was connected to grounds at both ends? Has anyone tried this? It seems fairly simple-remove the connector from one end, add the shielding (and nylon braiding), solder to ground, reconnect removed end.Thanks,
