Just your basic shoot'em up Star Wars gig with more shooting ups than any movie before. Someone said this was more of a war movie than a "fantasy" movie. I agree. It did not have that injection of lightness we normally see but that might be because it is a Brit movie with a well-spread international cast.

I think they digitized Peter Cushing and maybe Carrie Fisher, not sure. And, I couldn't understand a thing Forrest Whitaker had to say. All in all, it was a spectacle but not a knockout. There are better ways to spend your time--like leaving as soon as the credit starts as there are NO EASTER EGGS. (No future promises like: Coming in 2021.)
