It is very arty and a bit complex. I like that. What with flashbacks and hallucinations, this viewer struggled a bit keeping track of what is going on, but I like to work a little. On the other hand this ends up looking like an origin story for yet another comic book superhero story and I'm not much interested in those. It was a bit of a slog to get through the long episode and I'm not sure I'll watch the next one. I can compare it to the new 24, which is dumb and completely absurd but fun and I will definitely watch the next 24.
