.........â€¦â€¦...A video sender can send any signal to another room. The quality of the sound/picture will depend on the distance and obstructions in the way.
Most senders have two components. The base (sender/transmitter) & the receiver of the signal.
You will almost certainly need to have your main TV on with the channel selected you wish to â€œsendâ€ to the other room.
Your TV should have a â€œvideo outâ€ or â€œmonitor outâ€ as well as â€œaudio outâ€.
All you do is connect the video out/monitor out to the sender (along with the audio of course) and at the other end you connect the receiver to an A/V input on the TV.
Senders do not have a tuner they just send a signal. As long as both TVâ€™s have A/V inputs and outputs it is a piece of cake.
Connection is made usually by composite cable or if the sender & TVâ€™s have it S-video. Audio is usually just RCA L/R in/out.
