RE: U-Verse as we know it going the way of dodo bird? And dishes too?

Having been an early adopter of U-Verse I can say that it has been an unqualified mixed bag. The main reason I've stuck with them is their customer service beats the snot out of the cable people and I own shares in AT&T. Other than that they'd been outta here a long time ago. The service completely sucked at first when they'd WAY underestimated the number of VRADs necessary to get the job done. My service is still restricted to a max of three channels rather than four because the bandwidth is not what they claim. It has to be throttled back for me to get three good ones. Signal just goes off for no apparent reason and always at the least opportune time in the program you're watching - this happens at least once a week. They finally got tired of me complaining I guess and came out and removed all the coax hardware and replaced it with wireless stuff. What really pissed me off was that they freely admitted that they no longer install or support coax systems because they are too troublesome, but there was NO, repeat NO, proactive replacement program for poor suckers who already had coax systems. Service is better now, but still FAR from bullet proof.
