optical digital audio output on new HDTVs
Posted by RealStereo on February 21, 2017 at 19:31:18:
I was using the analog headphone output on my Sony TV into my preamp and thought it was good.
I was VERY WRONG!
Bought a Schiit Bifrost Multibit DAC, and now use an optical cable from the Sony TV digital audio output.
ABSOLUTELY HUGE IMPROVEMENT after a few days of being on continuously!
Well worth $600.
