Panny not Penny shut off problem 2

Posted by docw on June 14, 2019 at 19:32:12:

Going crazy, because my TV apparently has an intermittent shut off problem. Then Power LED blinks 7 times cyclically. That's a tech repair of at least $250 (a local quote), probably a main PC board.

Holding on off switch and then release turns it back on in the same condition electronically as when it turned off.

During game 6 of NBA playoffs, yesterday evening, tried it, and sure enough, it works normally, like 3-4 years ago.

By now, I have ordered a new replacement TV. Should I take a chance, keep the Panasonic and pray a lot? I can cancel the order until they officially ship Tues and install Wed.
