Cassavetes, wife Gina Rowland's, Raul Julia, Susan Sarandon, Molly Ringwalds first film and she's decent. A good cast.

A modern adaption/retelling of the story. I've always liked it. Haven't seen it in 30+ years.

Music by Stomu Yamashta with interesting licensed songs to boot. Like "I like little girls" by Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfmans band.
