'The Confessions': G8 whodunnit . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on December 5, 2020 at 09:49:04:

G8 ministers come to a luxury hotel in Germany for a secret meeting to confirm a world-changing policy. The chairman (Auteuil) invites special guests to lighten up the gravity of their discussions. One of those is Father Roberto Salus (Servillo).

Auteuil wanted Servillo, in particular, to take his personnel confession because of Servillo's works and silence. After this confession, Auteuil is found dead in his room the next morning. Now everyone is locked down pending the murder/suicide investigation.

Well done, well-acted, top-notch production values. This takes a look at the mindset and lives of high-flying Central Bankers. Worth it.
